There are plenty of tutorials on configuring an email account in Outlook, Windows Mail Live, Outlook Express and other mail clients. Forget about them! There is no need to do it manually anymore since it takes too long, it is sometimes too complicated and there is a free tool that will do it for you in split second. Thanks to CodeTwo Outlook AutoConfig, you can easily create your email account in those mail clients just with a few clicks.

CodeTwo Outlook AutoConfig will automatically set up your account just by providing your email address (fig.1).

- Once you enter your email address, a suggested display name will appear below; this is the name that will be shown to your recipients instead of your SMTP address. Naturally, you can change the display name to anything else.
- Then, simply pick a mail client you want to create your email account in (if some of the mail clients are not displayed, it means they are not installed on your computer) and then click Create account. Note! If your mail client is currently launched, you will need to restart it for the changes to take effect.
- Afterwards, you will be asked to enter your password (the one you use for your mail). Enter your password (make sure it is correct), check if Save this password in your password list is selected and click OK (Fig.2).

Here you go! Your email account has been configured.
Please Note! CodeTwo Outlook AutoConfig properly configures your e-mail account for the POP3/SMTP service providers in split second. Using a native Microsoft Outlook auto-configuration tool, you can only set up an IMAP account and it usually takes longer – sometimes even up to 3 minutes.
