Microsoft Outlook troubleshooting

If you are annoyed by the strikeout effect applied on the completed task subject (Fig.1.) then below you'll find instructions on how to get rid of this functionality.

In Outlook make sure you have the tasks folder selected then click View menu on top and choose Current View. On the list click Customize Current View... - this brings a new window with the number of options to choose from. Click Automatic Formatting... and on the list that appears (Fig.2.) highlight Completed and Unread tasks, then click the Font...  button below. In the font settings window uncheck Strikeout and click OK. Do the same for Completed and Read tasks on the list and click OK all the way out.

From now on all subjects of completed tasks are grayed out and are much more readable than before (Fig.3.).
