Microsoft Outlook troubleshooting

When you want to send a file from your desktop you can right-click it and select Send To/Mail Recipient. However, Microsoft Outlook will want to send this message in a plaintext format by default. Below is an instruction on how to send the file in message formatted in HTML format.

First, select a file on your desktop. Right-click it and choose Send To/Mail Recipient (Fig. 1.)

Microsoft Outlook will open now and you will see a standard message editor window. Go to the Options tab and select HTML (Fig. 2.)

By doing this you will make sure this message will be sent in HTML format.
