If a user wants to forward a message automatically to e.g. his coworker he can configure a specific rule in MS Outlook. Unfortunately the rule will work only when the program is up and running.
Luckily it's possible to automate email forwarding directly on the Exchange server.
To set up the email forwarding feature in the Exchange Server 2010 environment click the Start menu button, open Programs, go to the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 program group and start Exchange Management Console.
Next follow the steps from the video below.
Now all messages sent to user A (John from the video) will be forwarded to the user B (Mary). The enabled option Deliver message to both forwarding address and mailbox will leave the message in the original recipient's mailbox while forwarding to the other user.
