
Menus personalization in Outlook 2003/2007

Microsoft Outlook is full of many features. However, many of them are often redundant. To clarify the view they can be removed from the menus and task bars. Here is a description of how to do this.
Right click on the toolbar and pick Customize... (Fig.1.)

Next, choose the Commands tab and click Rearrange Commands... (Fig.2.)

Then in the new window find the menu to modify by removing or moving the command. The toolbar can also be changed here. Everything can also be canceled by clicking the Reset button. (Fig.3.)

Bear in mind that if the customization window is opened from the main Outlook view, only the commands from the main view can be edited. If you wish to edit commands from the New message window, you need to go to customization window in there. The customization option is the same in both Outlook 2003 and 2007.
