Microsoft Outlook troubleshooting

Nowadays, we can communicate with people from around the world thanks to the Internet. Although English is one of the most popular languages in the world, sometimes we receive a message in a different language or we need the text in the e-mail message to be translated into another language. Outlook 2010 is equipped with sophisticated tools to manage translation within a message. In most cases you don't need any additional programs or add-ins to handle message in a different language.

In order to use them, double click the e-mail message and in a new window click Translate button on the ribbon menu. There are several options to choose from. We will have a look at one of them called Mini Translator (Fig.1.).

After you select the Mini Translator and click a word inside of the message, a new pop-up window will be displayed (Fig.2.).

It will show the translation of the word in a defined language. In the example above, the word "tomorrow" was translated into French. You can choose the translation from a long list of available languages. In order to do so, click the Translation button and select option Choose Translation Language.

This translate is annoying me sooo much. Its worse than the old paperclip-helper.

I select non-english text and choose "translate selected text" - and outlook chooses From English To Chinese.
And no matter what i've tried, it NEVER rememebers i want From (european language) To English.

It pisses me off sooooooo much.

I was trying to find how to turn translator off myself and stumbled upon this.

I figured it out all by myself as well, so now I share:

In the message, where you get the "translate" button, click on it to open it and the simply click on the option you previously selected. This will de-select it and the annoyance goes away!
