"file does not exist" error

Postby jinxie » Tue Jul 27, 2010 4:57 am

Recently I got this message "The file does not exist". The only way to close this window is to click Cancel. This info pops up when I make any changes in Office Options. First of all: what file does not exist? Second, how can I solve this problem. I can see this forum works quite fine, so please help with this problem. I'm using Win7 and Office 2010. thx.

The problem you're having with your office is caused by a missing file -that's clear. Try checking every page in your Options dialog screen and see if all files are marked. Check, for example, if you have a reminder sound file in the Advanced page. As a default, the field for this file is left blank, which may be causing your problem.
Give me feedback on your progress.
